Certification in Stepfamily Ministry
We recently presented at the AMFM conference in Charlotte a Certification Course in Single-Parent/Stepfamily Ministry. Early next year, this course should be available in DVD/CD format. The course examines the characteristics of single parents and stepfamilies as well as key aspects of ministry development including team building, needs assessment, goal setting, resources, program development and evaluation. Single Parent and Stepfamily Ministry Network
We get calls from various parts of the county looking for counseling or ministry help. InStep has therefore begun the process of identifying and collecting information on local ministries. If you know of a ministry in your “neck of the woods” that would benefit from participating in this network, please email us the contact information.
Seminars and Workshops

First Annual Single and Single-Parent Expo
October 4th, at Pantano Christian Church. This city-wide event is for all singles and will feature speakers, break-out sessions, music, food, exhibition booths and opportunities to connect. We are looking for team leaders and event helpers. Call Christy at 298-5395 for details.
Pre-remarriage and stepcouple Intensives
Jeff and Judi will be leading several weekend intensives next year. The format will be Friday evening and all-day Saturday at a local bed and breakfast and will be limited to six couples per weekend. If you are looking to strengthen your relationship and understand the challenges of marriage in a stepfamily, then plan a weekend with the Parziales. Call 1-888-5INSTEP for details.
AMFM Conference
The annual conference of the Association of Marriage and Family Ministries will be in Phoenix, AZ, August 4-8, 2008. Mark your calendars, this is the event if you fare involved in marriage and family ministry at any level. Jeff and Judi will be exhibiting and presenting.
Stepfamily Ministry Development
Jeff and Judi are available to meet with your church and staff to provide a needs assessment and help develop a ministry to single- parents and stepfamilies that matches your church’s vision and mission. Our goal is to serve God and the local church.
Pre-marital and pre-remarriage classes
Jeff and Judi will be offering classes on both marriage and remarriage preparation at Pantano Christian Church. Call Christy at 298-5395 for details.
Developing Healthy Relationships
Based on their book, Developing Healthy Relationships, Jeff and Judi and teach an ongoing one-year seminar on key principles for being a healthy single adult. The workshop theme is that personal spiritual and emotional health is the key to healthy relationships.
Starting Feb 2nd, Jeff and Judi will be presenting each month at the Equally Yoked offices in Phoenix, AZ. Call the Instep office for details.
Tucson Association of Evangelicals (TAE)
TAE exists to connect local pastors and ministry leaders for encouragement and fellowship. The TAE schedule runs from September through May. The January through May, 2008 meetings will be held at First Evangelical Free Church, Gus Bess Pastor.
