issues. It can be used in conjunction with your divorce recovery program or as
a stand alone class.
Coming Soon: Ministering
to Divorcing Families
Why do so many divorcing families leave our churches? Divorce experts are unanimous
in their observation that the church is noticeably absent when families go through
a divorce. Elizabeth Marquardt, in her recent book, Between Two Worlds, notes
that two-thirds of the children she interviewed, whose families attended church,
reported that “no one” from the church was there for them. This short,
practical workbook will provide strategies, guidelines and language for ministering
to this hurting population and tackle the pithy problem of divorce theology.
